FORREC is capable of concept design development for theme parks and amusement parks, consisting of vertical expansion of Sansei Group.

Sansei provides product support for life cycle. As we have several tech-bases across Japan, we can provide maintenance services nationwide at 24/7/365 for elevators and stage system. For amusement rides, various follow-up services are available including regular maintenance, refurbishment of ride vehicles, Japanese legal inspection and parts replacement.

Tracks of Sansei’s challenges supporting society and building with trust and technology
1951
Established in aftermath and recovery from WWII
We first started as Sansei Yusoki in 1951, responding to industrial needs of post WWII, mainly producing elevators. Then, Sansei was one of the first to manufacture amusement rides and stage equipment for amusement parks and theatre projects at different places in Japan. In 1952, we delivered the first Japan made roller coaster to Takarazuka Family Land. Our stage system is installed in many iconic theatres in Japan including Takarazuka Grand Theater, Umeda Koma Theatre, Festival Hall, Sinjuku Koma Theatre, Nissei Theatre, National Theatre of Japan, and Imperial Theatre.
1970

1970 Osaka Expo marked a great step for the company’s growth. In addition to elevators and stage equipment, we delivered unique products such as moving walkways manufactured in Japan for the first time, the Daidara Saurus ride system as the world's first roller coaster with five cars departing and arriving simultaneously, and the aerial buffet.
2012
TELMIC and S&S joined Sansei Group
In May 2012, TELMIC, a pioneer in special effects for TV shows and temporary stage setups for events and concerts, joined Sansei Group. Later in November, S&S Worldwide, a leading U.S. manufacturer of amusement rides specializing in design, manufacturing, and installation, also became part of our organization. These additions have strengthened our presence both in Japan and internationally, enhancing our ability to deliver a broader range of products and services to our customers.
2014
Company name was changed to Sansei Technologies, Inc.
Since its foundation in 1946, we have operated under the company name of “Sansei Yusoki” under the guise of original business of elevator manufacturing. However, as the business ratio of stage equipment and amusement ride increased, we decided to change our company name to Sansei Technologies, Inc. to better express our spirit for technology and quality improvement and endeavor to become a global Only-One enterprise.
2018
Vekoma joined Sansei Group
In March 2018, Vekoma (Netherland), a leading European designer, manufacturer, and installer of amusement rides, joined Sansei Group. This strategic addition enhanced our product lineup and enabled us to build a robust global manufacturing and sales network spanning Japan, Europe, and the United States. As a result, our group solidified its position as a top-tier global player in the amusement ride industry—both in name and in practice.
2023
FORREC joined Sansei Group
In December 2023, FORREC, a Canadian firm specializing in concept development, master planning, and design consultation for theme parks and amusement facilities, joined Sansei Group. Today, the Sansei Group provides a uniquely integrated, one-stop solution—from initial concept design to ride engineering, manufacturing, installation, and maintenance—serving the global theme park and amusement industry with comprehensive expertise.
