ROHM Theatre Kyoto has three multipurpose halls; an approximately 2,000-seat Main Hall for hosting international large-scale performances, an approximately 700-seat South Hall for more intimate performances and a 200-seat North Hall that can be used for small-scale performances or rehearsal space.
Due to space and height restrictions at this theater, our company installed the latest high performance vertical type winch to work within the parameters of the project. In addition, we equipped the hall with various features such as layered retractable side acoustic panels (split horizontally) and versatile modular stage platforms.

We renovated the floor mechanism of Kabukiza when it reopened in 2013. The "revolving stage" we provided is one of the largest in Japan. It is a huge rotating cylindrical structure with a diameter of about 18 meters, a depth of about 16 meters and a total weight of about 360 tons. It is equipped with a total of four stage lifts. The original three are called “matsu”, “take” and “ume”. As a part of the renovation, we added a huge fourth one, making various types of stage effects and big scenery changes possible. In addition to providing safety functions within the floor mechanism, we have also prepared many ways to maintain safety so that even in unforeseen circumstances, the show can go on.

We provided Festival Hall, the musical hall in Kansai, with stage equipment such as scenery batten, lighting batten, orchestra lift, and acoustic equipment as a part of its renovation and reopening in the spring of 2013. Approximately 20 scenery battens were added from the previous hall, ensuring near silent operation and variable speed control from high to low in all 54 of them. In addition, the acoustic equipment suspended from the steel rail in the upper part of the stage, makes it easy to install and store without interfering with the stage floor.

With a width of 30 meters, the stage caters not only to concerts but also to various performances such as operas and musicals, enabling complicated stage performances for each program more than ever. We installed stage equipment in the "Tokyu Theatre Orb", a live performance and entertainment facility, pioneering further development in Shibuya.
To make the stage suitable for modern live performances and musicals, we arranged battens with speeds ranging from 0.1 to 120 m / min and load ratings of 1000 kg, every 250 mm. We provided a sophisticated operation panel to assist operation for a variety of stage performances.
The theater is highly versatile, equipped with an orchestra pit and stage lift for scenery in front of the stage and rigging systems for temporary use.

As one of the halls where you can enjoy performing arts of international level, Biwako Hall has a quadruple stage and is equipped with the state-of-the-art stage equipment. Mobile acoustic shell panels can transform the hall into an excellent concert hall.

Based on a multi-purpose hall with movable seats that can be stored under the floor, the convention facilities are not only outfitted to host international conferences, concerts, etc., but also used for a variety of exhibitions, trade fairs, and sporting events.

National Bunraku Theatre is used for performances of Bunraku, the traditional Japanese puppet drama, which has been designated as intangible cultural heritage. Bunraku, a common name for ningyo joruri, is a base to preserve, adopt and evolve the performances especially in Kyoto and Osaka widely, including Kabuki, Noh, Japanese dance and music.
